Washington, DC – Congresswoman Lori Trahan (D-MA-03) released the following statement in response to Attorney General Barr’s summary of the Mueller report.

"Attorney General Barr's letter and his initial summary does not change the fact that Congress and the American people must be able to review Special Counsel Robert Mueller's full report. This matter is too serious to accept only a brief explanation from a hand-picked appointee of the President, the subject of the investigation. There are still many questions that need to be answered, especially given language from Mr. Mueller surrounding possible obstruction of justice. Congress will continue to exercise its constitutional duties and assure that the truth is made available to the public."
