“As I always have, I will work to address the financial burdens facing everyday Americans, and I am hopeful that there will be opportunities to find common ground. However, if the Trump administration pursues policies that reward billionaire donors with tax cuts while paying for them by slashing vital programs – like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid – House Democrats will fight back against those efforts.”
