Trahan Releases 2023 End of Year Report

LOWELL, MA – Today, Congresswoman Lori Trahan (MA-03) released her “End of Year Report for 2023” to residents across the Third District. The report summarizes Trahan’s efforts to lower health care and prescription drug costs, create good-paying jobs, defend women’s rights, and more. Additionally, it explains how important legislation has already begun to directly affect and benefit every Third District resident.

“Representing the district that I’ve called home my entire life and that my husband and I are now raising our family in is the honor of a lifetime.” Congresswoman Trahan wrote in a note to Third District residents. “I go to work each day with the goal of improving life for working families across the Third District, and as this busy year comes to an end, I’m excited to share this comprehensive report detailing what my team and I have accomplished.”

The End of Year Report breaks down Congresswoman Trahan’s work on critical issues and how she delivered for families by funding essential infrastructure projects throughout the district, cleaning up local drinking water sources, tackling the climate crisis, and more. 

The report details accomplishments such as:

  • Over $40 million in federal benefits and relief delivered to residents and small businesses
  • 1,827+ constituent requests for assistance closed
  • 409+ events, constituent and organization meetings, town halls, and visits in the district
  • 21,200+ constituent phone calls and emails answered
  • 9 bills introduced
