Trahan Highlights New White House Guide To Help Third District Communities Access Historic Infrastructure Investments

LOWELL, MA – Today, Congresswoman Lori Trahan (MA-03) highlighted a comprehensive new guide from the Biden Administration to help Third District communities navigate the many historic investments available to them through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The guide includes crucial information to assist local communities in taking full advantage of urgently-needed infrastructure funding for road and bridge maintenance, expanded public transit, airport upgrades, and other critical projects.

“Passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law was a critical first step in finally reversing decades of federal infrastructure neglect. Our focus now is ensuring that every single community here in the Third District is best positioned to maximize the impact of this historic legislation,” said Congresswoman Trahan. “In addition to the federal briefings we’re hosting for state and local leaders, this new guide from the Biden Administration will be an essential resource to bring home every penny our communities are eligible for to rebuild our infrastructure and create good-paying jobs.”

In November 2021, Trahan supported passage of the landmark Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, sending it to President Joe Biden’s desk where he signed it into law. A breakdown of the funding Massachusetts received from the package can be accessed by clicking HERE.

The Administration’s new guide provides key information on all available funding in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, totaling more than 350 unique programs supporting a wide range of infrastructure projects. The guide outlines eligibility criteria, application deadlines and contact information, as well as additional resources to help navigate these programs.
