LOWELL, MA  - Congresswoman Lori Trahan (MA-03) hosted a discussion with the next generation of changemakers from communities across Massachusetts’ Third Congressional District to talk about racial inequality in America. Trahan was joined by co-moderator Masada Jones, Founder and Executive Director of the Kindred Project - an organization dedicated to strengthening and increasing the visibility of the Black community in Lowell.

The youth panelists included activists Terrell Brown of Lowell, MA, Hannah Bessette of Haverhill, MA, and Ricardo “Ricky” Rios of Lawrence, MA. All three panelists shared their perspectives on America in 2020, the incredible amount of work that still needs to be done to achieve equality and justice, and the importance of young people’s voices being heard every step of the way.
