Being the Change: Policing and Criminal Justice Reforms

LOWELL, MA – Congresswoman Lori Trahan (MA-03) hosted the first installment of her “Being The Change” discussion series on Tuesday, kicking off a series of conversations with leaders in the fight to end racial injustice.

Trahan was joined by Congressional Black Caucus Chair, Congresswoman Karen Bass (CA-37) to talk about the demands for change coming from communities across America in the wake of the murder of George Floyd. The lawmakers also discussed recent actions taken by Congress and what can be done by communities to sustain momentum to move forward in this issue area.
