LOWELL, MA - Today, Congresswoman Lori Trahan (MA-03) announced the launch of her “Local Heroes Spotlight” initiative to highlight heroes in cities and towns throughout Massachusetts’ Third Congressional District who have stepped up to support their community during this difficult time.

“I have such profound gratitude for our frontline heroes who face this pandemic head-on each day to ensure we have access to the emergency services we need. These heroes come in many forms - they are the healthcare workers, first responders, pharmacists, grocery store workers, child care workers, gas station workers, public transit employees, mail carriers, custodial staff and so many more. As we continue to navigate this challenging time together, I’m inviting folks to nominate a hero in their lives so we can acknowledge and celebrate those who go above and beyond to keep us safe,” said Congresswoman Trahan.

Trahan’s “Local Heroes Spotlight” is free and open to anyone who would like to participate. Those interested in doing so can submit their hero HERE. Trahan will highlight local heroes every week on her social media accounts.
