Lowell, MA – Today, Congresswoman Lori Trahan (MA-03) launched her first “Holiday Cards for Heroes” program for the 2019 holiday season. Constituents in Massachusetts’ Third Congressional District are invited to drop off holiday cards for military servicemembers at Congresswoman Lori Trahan’s office in Lowell, starting today through Friday, December 13, 2019. Holiday cards should be placed in envelopes but should not be sealed closed. “The holidays are a special time for our community and our families. Yet, many of our brave men and women in our armed forces spend this season far from family and home,” said Congresswoman Trahan. “Their sacrifices protect our democracy and preserve America’s values. A personal, handwritten card is a small way we can say ‘thank you’ to the Americans serving our country, offer words of encouragement, and share holiday cheer. I’m glad our office is able to help connect constituents and our servicemembers.” Congresswoman Trahan’s Lowell District Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm at 126 John St, Suite 12, Lowell, MA 01852. Constituents can also deliver cards during these additional office hours, Learn more here.
