Congresswoman Lori Trahan Announces $3,582,660 in Federal Funds for Greater Lawrence Family Health Center

Lawrence, MA – Today, Congresswoman Lori Trahan (D-MA-03) announced $3,582,660 in federal grant funding from the Department of Health and Human Services to support the work of the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center.

“I am glad to announce $3,582,660 in federal grant funding from the Department of Health and Human Services to directly support the work of the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center. Community health centers like the GLFHC open up access to critical care for the most vulnerable in our communities. They are on the frontlines every day keeping people healthy and providing essential care to those who otherwise would have nowhere to turn. I am proud to fight to make sure that critical federal resources are making their way back to Massachusetts’ 3rd District, and will continue to be an advocate for these smart investments in communities across Massachusetts,” said Rep. Trahan.

“With this continued support and investment from HRSA, Greater Lawrence Family Health Center will continue its great work for those most in need throughout the Greater Lawrence and Upper Merrimack Valley region.  We are committed to providing integrated primary health care and behavioral health services to our 60,000 plus patients and their families as well the new patients who will be coming to our health center in the months and years ahead,” said John Silva, President and CEO, Greater Lawrence Family Health Center.
